    • Conclusion
  • In order to write the conclusion, remember to:
    • Re-state the theme
    • Re-state your 3 reasons
    • Add an interesting idea to get the reader to think

Example:

Theme – We must stay loyal to our true friends

Reason 1 – Our friends will care for us through hard times

Reason 2 – Our friends make our lives better

Reason 3 – When we are disloyal, we may lose the things that matter most

Interesting Thought – The world would be a better place if we could all learn from the actions of Dog and Magpie. If everyone followed their example, no one would ever feel the loneliness that caused Fox so much despair.

The theme of the book Fox is an important message that is good for everyone to learn. In life, we must stay loyal to our true friends. Dog showed his loyalty to Magpie by caring for her through hard times, and then the two friends learned that staying true to each other made their lives more complete. When Magpie showed disloyalty to Dog by running away with Fox, she suffered a bad consequence and then realized how important Dog was to her. The world would be a better place if we could all learn from the actions of Dog and Magpie. If everyone followed their example, no one would ever feel the loneliness that caused Fox so much despair.
