Our Mission

Our Mission at P.S. 7 is to create an environment that addresses the needs of our entire school community. All students, faculty, parents and members of the community will work collaboratively to achieve optimum learning for everyone. We will accomplish this by customizing instruction for our differentiated learners through standards-based practices embedded in the Common Core Curriculum that will ensure success for all.

Our Vision

Our vision at P.S. 7 is to create a school community where teachers are instructional leaders, who work collaboratively in a risk-free learning environment that is safe, stimulating, and challenging. Our learning community will enable our students to take their places as active and responsible members of our society and the world, embracing the cultural privileges of American citizenship while retaining pride in their ethnic heritage. Our mission is to organize and utilize all resources to address the needs of our entire school community. All students, faculty, parents, and members of the community will consistently achieve optimum learning for everyone through reflective dialogue and shared best practices. We commit to this endeavor by focusing on each student and customizing differentiated instruction that is based on standards and integrated in the arts and technology to ensure academic excellence for all of our students.
